Latest happenings at NCAA March Madness





The NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, also known as March Madness, is set to begin in March with the first four games. The tournament features 68 teams from across the United States competing in a single-elimination format for the national champion.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs finished the regular season with a perfect 28-0 record and are currently ranked as the number one ranked team in the country. Next up are the Baylor Bears, who finished the regular season 22-2 and ranked No. 2.

In terms of individual performances, Gonzaga's Drew Timme has been one of the standouts this season. He was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year and averaged 19.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

There have also been some significant coaching changes in the NCAA basketball world. Mike Krzyzewski, Duke University's longtime head coach, has announced that he will retire at the end of the 2021-2022 season, ending a storied coaching career that spanned more than four decades. In addition, Roy Williams, former head coach of the University of North Carolina, announced his retirement after 33 seasons as head coach.

Overall, the NCAA basketball season was full of exciting moments and notable events, and fans are eagerly awaiting the start of March Madness to see which teams will emerge as the top contenders for the national championship.
